EGT (Euro Games Technology)

EGT Software Review

Launched in 2002 in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, EGT (Euro Games Technology) started out with a slot – a decent effort called Gladiator – and proceeded to move up the Bulgarian gaming food chain with further slots releases.

Expansion followed, first into Russia but also into other East European markets like Romania, with newer games being released at land-base casinos. The ‘Classic Blend Jackpot System’ launched in 2005 which featured state-of-the-art touch-screen panels and mega jackpots. The newly-launched progressive system allowed up to 64 machines to be linked to a single network.

Further expansion into Macau and other jurisdictions followed, and the Vega Vision Series of slots was released in 2008. Essentially, the Vega Vision allowed players to pick from any one of 17 EGT slots from one terminal.

Further innovations came out in 2012 and 2013, with multigame software allowing EGT players to pick from blackjack, roulette, slots or bingo games from a single cabinet.

Like other land-based pioneers like Bally, EGT have been slow off the mark with releasing online versions of their games, although a tie-up with their games and the Apple iPad shows that – if they want it – the technological future is in their hands.

EGT Software Popular Slots

All of the EGT slots have high-quality graphics and sound, however, this company is not basing its games on the visual effects or stunning intros and stories. These slots are old-school, they resemble retro slot machines, but their strength lies within the bonuses, free spins and special features. All the games, including the famous 5, 20 and 40 Super Hot, have amazing play jackpot card mystery and card flip game inside them. Features of this kind are making the gambling experience fantastic, and are one of the reasons why EGT slots are so popular.

Besides Super Hot series, where aside from 5, 20 and 40 Super Hot, you can play Supreme Hot, Dazzling Hot, Ultimate Hot and Flaming Hot. The other popular EGT slots are, among others, Rise of Ra, Halloween, Ocean Rush, 2 Dragon Reels and Olympus glory. They all carry a dose of nostalgia, for they are representing gaming as it once was. Many of these slots are progressive jackpot slots. EGT has nearly thirty slots of this kind, unlike other software providers, which offer only several progressive jackpot slots.

There are over 100 slots by EGT, around 60 of them are optimised for mobile devices, including the best ones, such as Hot series. You can play them by accessing one of the many online casinos through the browser of your phone or tablet.
